I believe that relationships are central to living a full and connected life. The relationship with ourselves and our identity can be complicated and difficult. The relationship connections we have with others can feel disconnected, overwhelming, and frustrating at times. It can be helpful to have a caring professional assist in navigating these relationships. I aim to help you increase compassion and care for yourself. I will support you to resolve conflict, improve connection with others and navigate life’s ongoing challenges.

I have recently worked with folks in recovery from substance and chemicals addictions. I have experience with navigating the effects of Purity Culture and the process of healthy religious deconstruction. I am comfortable and familiar working with people from the kink community and consensual non-monogamy relationships. If you find yourself trying to reconcile your identity with the communities you are a part of, I can help guide and support you through that process.

I use a client-centered approach while being non-judgmental when learning about people. I have a relational approach that is client forward while creating a therapeutic relationship that feels safe in the work.

Before pursuing becoming a therapist, I earned a Master of Arts in Women’s Theologies from United Theological Seminary and am working towards a second Master of Science Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Saint Cloud State University. I am working under the supervision of Jennifer M Knapp, MS, LMFT.
