Training the Next Generation of Therapists
Rise Therapy offers a collaborative supervision and mentorship program for interns and pre-licensed clinicians pursuing licensure. Our goal is to provide a supportive learning environment where developing therapists can strengthen their clinical skills, deepen their understanding of therapeutic work, and grow within a community of experienced clinicians.
We welcome interns and pre-licensed professionals who feel aligned with our relational, thoughtful approach to therapy.
Our Supervision Approach
Rise Therapy has developed a robust supervision and mentorship program designed to support clinicians throughout their professional development.
We currently provide supervision for individuals pursuing licensure as:
LMFT (Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist)
LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor)
LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker)
Our LMFT supervisors are AAMFT-approved, ensuring high-quality supervision aligned with national professional standards.
What Supervision Looks Like at Rise
Our supervision program combines individual mentorship with collaborative learning.
Individual Supervision
Each supervisee participates in weekly one-on-one mentorship with their assigned clinical supervisor. These meetings focus on clinical case consultation, professional development, ethical considerations, and building confidence in your work as a therapist.
Group Supervision
We also offer two hours of group supervision twice per month, creating a supportive cohort-style learning environment.
Group supervision allows interns and supervisees to learn from multiple supervisors and perspectives across disciplines. This collaborative format encourages thoughtful discussion, shared learning, and connection among developing clinicians.
Our Philosophy
At Rise Therapy, supervision goes beyond simply fulfilling licensure requirements. We place strong emphasis on the “self of the therapist,” the art of therapeutic work, and practicing within the highest ethical and professional standards.
Our entire team is invested in supporting the growth of each intern and pre-licensed clinician as they develop their professional identity.
